Job Overview: We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Muslim therapists licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey to join our team on a per diem basis. This position offers a unique opportunity to be compensated for providing therapy for Muslims struggling with mental health concerns by accepting 5-10 client hours per week, with the potential to increase caseload. The caseload will primarily include, but is not limited to, zakat-funded clients.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, culturally competent therapy services to Muslim clients.

• Conduct individual counseling sessions, using therapeutic approaches tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions and progress.

• Collaborate with other team members and participate in case consultations as necessary.

• Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards in all aspects of practice.

Qualifications:

• Must be a licensed therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) in Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey or provide proof of off-site supervision by a licensed therapist. Alanur cannot help with the process of receiving supervision at this time.

• Strong understanding of and ability to provide Islamically competent care to Muslim clients.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible, per diem schedule.
